Ileana & David – Back to their roots!
Ileana and David are from Mexico, but have been living outside the country for quite some time. When their wedding plans began, there was no doubt that they wanted to come back to their roots to celebrate with family and friends and feel once more like being home.
They chose the bustling city of Guanajuato, filled with its colourful streets and colonial architecture, the city itself encapsulates traditional culture and vibes. We took their photos on the rooftop of Casa del Rector, a hotel located in the heart of the downtown with a panoramic view of the city and alleyways below. From there we were off to Antigua Hacienda Dolores de Barrera to take their family formals, a part of the day which we consider to be a must include for all couples to have those closely cherished photos of family and friends.
Ileana and David were all smiles throughout, and they even kept their nerves in check while exchanging their vows in the Basilica, where an empty seat couldn’t be found. And from then on out, all the guests packed Antigua to give them a warm welcome and celebrate into the wee hours of the night.
Ileana and David, we wish you nothing but happiness for what is to come, and thank you for having been part of your lovely homecoming marriage.
